Grounds Maintenance in Berlin

Care for green spaces and outdoor areas at agreed intervals — for residential complexes and commercial properties.

Scope of work

What grounds maintenance with ENAS covers

Grounds maintenance covers the regular care of lawns, hedges, shrubs and flower beds, along with the upkeep of paths and paved outdoor areas. The scope includes lawn mowing based on seasonal need, hedge trimming within permitted cutting periods, removing overgrowth, and leaf clearance in autumn.

We care for beds and planted areas according to what is planted — from regular weeding to seasonal bedding plants, where this is wanted. For trees and larger shrubs, we handle care within the scope of safety obligations, such as removing dead branches within reach; for larger tree work, we refer clients to specialist arborists where needed.

We keep paved areas such as paths and courtyards free of growth in joints, and remove leaves or debris that can create a slip hazard. On request, we also handle watering of green areas, particularly during dry periods.

Service intervals follow the season — more frequent during the growing period, reduced to inspection and upkeep during winter months. We offer snow and ice clearance as a separate, complementary service.

Who it's for

Residential complexes and commercial properties with outdoor space

Grounds maintenance from ENAS suits property managers and owners' associations with shared green space, as well as businesses whose outdoor areas need to make a well-kept impression. We also help with a one-off tidy-up of neglected areas before taking over ongoing care.

Process

Planned by season, delivered reliably

After assessing the property, we draw up a care plan based on the growing season and the green space involved. Work is carried out by a consistent team at the agreed intervals. We adjust the plan seasonally where needed, such as additional leaf clearance in autumn.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about grounds maintenance

What can grounds maintenance include?

The service plan can cover lawn care, hedge trimming, maintenance of beds and planted areas, weed removal and seasonal tasks. The appropriate work depends on the planting, use and required appearance. Larger tree work or measures with specialist requirements can be referred to appropriately specialised contractors where needed.

How does grounds maintenance change through the year?

Spring often involves cutting back, preparing areas and the first mowing visits, while growth and dry periods shape summer intervals. Autumn work can include leaves and preparation for the end of the growing season. Routine demand falls in winter, so the annual plan is seasonal rather than identical across all twelve months.

Are recurring maintenance agreements available for outdoor areas?

Recurring work can be agreed with fixed inspection and maintenance intervals. Frequency is based on area, planting, growth phases and the required appearance. Seasonal tasks are identified separately in the service plan so that property managers and businesses can track responsibilities and planned visits for their outdoor areas.

What determines the cost of grounds maintenance?

Key factors are the size and layout of the grounds, type and density of planting, site access and required maintenance frequency. Disposal of green waste, seasonal additional work and specialist equipment can increase the scope. An area assessment shows which tasks should be scheduled regularly, seasonally or only when required.
